Why should I sell my judgment? We know you’ve been through a lot with the court system and still haven’t received what is rightfully yours. What’s the point of winning in court if you can’t collect the money that is owed to you? The longer a judgment sits, the harder it can be to collect. Timing is crucial in getting the money you’re owed, as debtors can become more challenging to track down over time. A judgment is just a piece of paper, and collecting the money can be more challenging than obtaining the judgment itself. Remedies are complex and must be executed precisely. Sadly, most judgments go unpaid, with 80% remaining uncollected. That’s where UniResolve comes in, offering solutions to help you recover your money. UniResolve deals with buyers in the field of Judgment Enforcement and Judgment Collection. Many of them have more than 30 years of experience in the industry, so you can be confident that they are highly knowledgeable and capable of making reasonable offers. Why would you bother with the hassle of collection when there is an opportunity to sell your judgment?

I want buyers to compete to buy my judgment so that I can choose the best option. What do I do?To maximize your chances of selling your judgment and receiving multiple offers, you may choose to list your judgment publicly online for a period of thirty (30) days when you complete your request. This allows multiple buyers the opportunity to review your listing and gives you the best opportunity to receive the highest offer. Every buyer has its own terms. Since I have not been paid, I want to be able to interfere with the debtor's credit transactions. How can I do that?To improve your chances of getting paid, Uniresolve will file a lien with the State of California, providing public notice that the debtor has not paid the judgment. A lien can be viewed by various creditors and limit, delay or stop a debtor's credit transactions until your judgment is completely paid off. A lien can also secure your right to a claim in case the debtor files bankruptcy. Many judgments are resolved using a lien. Please choose to have a lien filed against your debtor when you complete your request. To see a sample copy of a lien, please click here.

What type of judgments do you buy?UniResolve provides a platform for the purchase of State Court Civil judgments, labor board judgments, and Small Claims judgments from individuals, businesses, and financial institutions that are a minimum of $1,000.00 or more. We are able to purchase judgments anywhere in California. The judgment can be no older than 10 years old since the date of judgment was issued. In some states this timeline may vary. How long does it take for a buyer to purchase my judgment? Some individuals can sell their judgments quickly, while others may take longer, depending on interested buyers and the type of debtor involved. You can list your judgment with our 30-day one-time fee option, allowing many buyers the opportunity to compete to purchase it, or you can opt to have UniResolve review your case for a single offer from a UniResolve affiliate. How are cases purchased?Cases are evaluated in the order that they are received. If a decision is made to purchase your judgment, the offer will be made either on contingency, a percentage, immediate cash or other conditions in exchange for the Assignment of your Judgment. This means after an agreement is made with a buyer, the Judgment is put into a buyer's name, which permits the buyer to take action against the debtor to collect the balance owed. Each buyer has their own conditions. To begin your request for offers, please click here.

How much can I get paid for my judgment? The market rate and top dollar for single Judgments as well as Judgment portfolios are usually offered. Every offer made is subject to each buyer's conditions. It is important to know that judgments always sell for a very steep discount of their face value. We will service your request quickly and professionally as we can, on an individual basis. Why should I use your services rather than collect my judgment on my own?Because the judgment collection process can be more expensive and time-consuming than one would anticipate, many people are optimistic about collecting their money but do not know where to start or after many unsuccessful attempts, they give up. Unfortunately, the court does not collect the judgment for you. By giving yourself the opportunity to sell your judgment, you may be able to resolve your matter without having the weighty responsibility of trying to to collect it. Additionally, UniResolve provides resources to enforce your judgment on your own, if you still choose to do so. We can assist you in finding bank accounts on your debtor(s) and also assist you in recording your judgment in our credit database where creditors seek our records to deny or grant credit. We offer other services to assist you as well. Please see our section titled "Collect My Judgment" for more information.
-
How quickly will I get paid?Every case is distinctively different, depending upon your agreement with the buyer. If a cash offer is made, payment can be tendered the moment the assignment documents are signed and delivered. In some cash offer cases, payment can be submitted in as little as 24-48 hours. To begin your request for offers, please click here.
-
How long will it take you to respond to my request for an offer?Your request will be reviewed in the order it is received, except for those who have opted for expedited evaluation. After due diligence is completed, and if an offer is made, you will be contacted. To begin your request for offers, please click here.
